project intro

The project was proposed and sponsored by Whirlpool to work with Ohio State University's Industrial and Product Design department. The class was divided into a few groups to seek and propose marketing opportunities through primary and secondary marketing research for Whirlpool's evaluation. At the end of the semester, a design solution based on team findings was presented  by each student.

our team major finding

The washers on the market not only seem to design for "households" in size but appear confusing to use. Even those pricy "smart washers" are overwhelming to millennials who are on trends to smart feature and new technologies.

Simply enter the fabric you are going to wash and number of it, Duo Care will recommend the best setting for your laundry. You will no longer need to complicate yourself when it comes to settings

Timer

With it, you will always stay alert to your laundry to avoid wrinkles and when you are away. You can also request reminder (text, phone call, alarm) to keep you updated.

Turbo Wash

Through a few turbo questions, Duo Care would be able to gauge the best setting for your laundry.
